The Canucks are currently struggling with the cap space, as they don't have much and need money to resign captain Bo Horvat and scoring winger Andrei Kuzmenko.

Many names have surfaced in the trade rumors as of late, especially Brock Boeser. The major problem on the roster at this point are guys not playing up to their AAV.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson, $8.25M cap hit until 2027.

Tyler Myers, $6M cap hit until 2024.

The problem with these two is that even if the Canucks wanted to retain part of their salaries, both of them have no-movement clause.

It's been reported out of Sportsnet that Ekman-Larsson had been asked multiple times to waive his clause. Since he's still in Vancouver, you can guess what the answer was.

Ekman-Larsson hasn't even been a shadow of how good he was back in his days with the Coyotes. He used to be a great do-it-all type of guy putting up points on the board. Which he hasn't been doing with the Canucks.

With the Canucks in desperate need of cap space, do you believe it's achievable for them to move such a big contract?
