Last week the Vancouver Canucks traded away their captain Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders after the Canucks knew they weren't able or chose not to give Horvat a contract extension.
Horvat is set to take on his former team tonight in UBS Arena as the Islanders host the Canucks. Horvat has seemed fit nicely with the Islander scoring his first goal Tuesday night off a sweet pass from Mathew Barzal.
After the goal, Horvat got a standing ovation and the fans in UBS Arena chanted "Horvat" after the game Bo was asked how he felt about the fan support he received from Islanders fans.
Horvat replied saying: "I haven't had a chant like that in a building that loud, I don't think ever."
Horvat loved being a Vancouver Canuck but clearly took a friendly shot at Canucks fans, because the last time Horvat was a Canuck the fans were booing the Canucks after a loss.
