Defense Doesn't score?
Apart from the power play, the Canucks have been struggling to score. This is also more of a problem from the defense. Quinn Hughes has no goals, Oliver Ekman-Larsson has one, Luke Schenn and (fairly new) Ethan Bear have two.
The rest (yes you Mr. Myers) have no goals to contribute either. What a stark contrast to the 2011 team where Alex "the Eagle" Edler led the team with eleven.
That being said, an ex-Canuck on a horrible team out of the blocks has 3 goals which eclipses most of the current roster.
Travis Hamonic, the defenseman who was traded for a 3rd round pick last year, has outscored (in goals) all of the Canucks defense. His stats speak for themselves.
