Friedman makes new Statement regarding the Horvat situation
Elliotte Friedman hosted his 32 thoughts podcast earlier today and released some intriguing info on the contractual conflict with Bo Horvat.
Is this really the way Canucks management want to handle this situation? They didn't hesitate to pull the trigger on a massive deal for J.T. Miller, shouldn't they consider doing the same for the team captain, leading goalscorer and leading forward in time of ice?
The current going reference for a top centerman refers to Roope Hintz most recent deal (8-year, $67.6M). Now, do you want to give that much money to Horvat? Given the fact that he wasn't producing like a number one center rate before this year?
