The Canucks are in Vegas today to meet with the Golden Knights for the second time this week. In the latest matchup, the Knights came out with the win. The Canucks surrendered a 2-goal lead in the third to lose the tilt 5-4.

The Canucks came out strong in Wednesday's tilt against the latest Cup Winner, the Avalanche, as they shut the door to get away with the 4-3 win. The defensive core will have to limit opportunities to Vegas's strong offense. Lately the offense hasn't been an issue whilst the team scored at least 4 goals in their 4 last outings, winning 3 of them.

In that sequence, Elias Pettersson (4G, 2A), Andrei Kuzmenko (1G, 4A), Bo Horvat (3G, 2A), Brock Boeser (2G, 3A), J.T. Miller (1G, 3A), Quinn Hughes (0G, 4A) have all been offensive leaders. If they keep it going, I like the odds for tonight.

On Vegas' side, it will be important to keep in line superstar centerman Jack Eichel and his linemate Mark Stone who've combined for 12 points over the last 5 games. Alex Pietrangelo is the team leader in points over that sequence since he put up 7 with two 3-point games.

How is Vegas coming out, after their loss last night against the Kraken?
