Horvat in good Canuck company
Bo Horvat scored his 25th goal of the season to open the scoring against the San Jose Sharks (he later scored his 26th) which not only set a record for Bo personally but also put him in elite company.
This puts Bo on pace for 62 goals and it's even possible for him to aim Pavel Bure's franchise record of 60 goals but in a lesser amount of games, (Bure did it back to back in 92-93 and 93-94 but needed 76 games). This pace aside, the value of Horvat keeps rising every game as he continues to find the back of the net and to lead his team as a true captain.
One does wonder if upper management has to be kicking themselves in not having the money that Horvat's value is definitely demanding vs their signing of J.T. Miller last season. Will Rutherford and company find the cap space to re-sign Bo and his (so far) dazzling season?
