Insider makes an intriguing statement on Pettersson's potential
The Vancouver Canucks management group are currently looking over their roster to see what changes need to be made to improve and return back to a playoff team.
General Manager Patrik Allvin doesn't think this team needs a rebuild but more just a retooling since the Canucks have a lot talent currently in their primes like J.T. Miller, Quinn Hughes, Elias Pettersson and Andrei Kuzmenko.
Former NHLer Brad May recently talked about the Canucks and more specifically Elais Pettersson. Many believe, myself included, that Pettersson will be the next captain of the Canucks. May would reveal what the things the Canucks need to do to be better and help Pettersson:
"He needs support. He needs a 2nd line to alleviate pressure... Vancouver needs to become a deeper team for Pettersson to become elite... I think he can get to another level."

I'd have to agree with May he made some good points especially when it comes to adding secondary scoring as that's been a issue this season for us.
