Kevin Bieksa reveals how he would've handled Travis Konecny after his cheap shot on Elias Pettersson
The Flyers visited last night and were handed a lesson against Rick Tocchet's troupes. Some players started showing their frustration and the Canucks' reaction simply wasn't enough.
Travis Konecny showed Elias Pettersson his frustration late in the game as you can see in the clip:
Many fans and analyst complained that everyone should have intervene because stuff like that shouldn't happen on your top player. Friedman and Bieksa had the opportunity to discussed the subject post-game and here's how it went:
We're all very well aware that Bieksa is a warrior, though he had no problem with the way the players on the ice handled Konecny, especially since the linesman stepped in right away.
It feels like Konecny should have been thrown out of the game, but as always and as Marchand pointed out, the consistency isn't there.
