LATEST | Canucks make an announcement regarding Linus Karlsson
In light of their building blue program, the Canucks highlighted another of their prospects. A player that is starting to feel like a steal since he originally belonged to the San Jose Sharks.
A 6'01'' and 180 pounds winger, Linus Karlsson made the transfer to North American hockey and managed an impressive 49 points in 72 games.
Chris Higgins, assistant director of the Canucks' player development, narrated the prospect's presentation:
«A lot of pro attributes in his game that will benefit him moving forward.»
Leading Abbotsford in goals last year, this episode of Building Blue focuses on the year-to-year improvement of prospect Linus Karlsson.
The Canucks acquired him in a trade that sent Jonathan Dahlen to the Sharks. Karlsson has been a thing to watch ever since and he'll definitely be an intriguing player to watch when training camp starts.
