LATEST | Great news for the Canucks former defenseman
The Canucks traded away a big piece of their core prior to the trade deadline when they sent Luke Schenn to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Since the hard-hitting defenseman was sent to the Leafs, he's only taken parts in 2 games and has also spent more time in Vancouver than in Toronto for that matter. The Schenn's were expecting another child and since their due date was fairly close, the Leafs granted the veteran defenseman the right to remain in Vancouver.
It now appears that the pair have now welcomed their newborn into this world:
Schenn was greatly appreciated by the guys in the locker room, the coaching staff, but also the management group. Schenn is set to hit the free-agency market this summer and the Canucks are still expected to send an offer his way. Is bringing back the Schenn Daddy the right move?
