Nick Cousins has often been highlighted for some of his dirty plays and the following suspensions. He was most recently involved in an altercation with one of the Arizona Coyotes players, which resulted in a suspension for Jason Zucker.

On Hockey Night in Canada last night, Kevin Bieksa was outraged by the situation and how the NHL and the players hadn't done anything about it. Cousins has been known for his dirty plays for years, and whenever things get rough, he doesn't respond to his actions:

"Somebody has to hammer this guy from the Department of Justice and put an end to these crappy hits because I hate them, and that's a rat to me."

Since he spoke out, analysts and NHLers have given their support to Bieksa's take on the subject:

"The way Bieksa played the game only makes these words more meaningful. He played hockey mean and tough but fair. Cousins plays the game blatantly trying to injure people"

The NHL Player Safety Department will have to look closely at these actions. Or, as Bieksa stated, someone will have to tell him. It's one of hockey's unwritten rules, if you're willing to throw dirty hits, you have to be willing to pay for your acts.
