When it comes to power forwards in the NHL there isn't many that play as hard as Calgary Flames forward Milan Lucic. Granted he's not the beast he once was when he was a member of the Boston Bruins, but the 34 year-old could still add that toughness a team needs some.
With the NHL trade deadline looming various general managers around the League will decide if they want to be buyers or sellers. One team that's definitely looking to improve for the playoffs is the New York Rangers. After a memorable run last season, Rangers General Manager Chris Drury is looking to add some pieces they Rangers need that appears to be Milan Lucic.
This comes from New York Rangers Insider New York Post's Larry would share the news that the Rangers are interested in acquiring Lucic's services. The Rangers could use that toughness that Lucic brings after the departure of Ryan Reaves who's now a member of the Minnesota Wild.
The good thing also is Lucic is a pending unrestricted free agent this off-season, so adding Lucic would definitely be a low risk high reward rental.
