LATEST | New lines for the Nucks. Great news for Kuzmenko
The Canucks will be hosting a struggling Flyers' lineup and with the most recent roster move in Vancouver, it is expected that both Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Curtis Lazar will be sitting this one out.
The two were injured in the team's latest game and Tocchet had to play with his lineup, prior to tonight's game. It seems Andrei Kuzmenko has proved Tocchet he belongs on the team's top line since he found his way back to Pettersson and Beauvillier.
Phillip Di Giuseppe has shown tremendous effort and is taking the promotion on the second line with J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser. Jack Studnicka is back on the team's starting lineup, since he'll center Vasily Podkolzin and Conor Garland. Joshua, Aman and Dries were skating together as the fourth unit.
Defensively Christian Wolanin will have an opportunity to prove himself, he'll skate by Luke Schenn's side while Riley Stillman and Tyler Myers make up the second pair. Hughes and Bear are the usual top blueliners.
Tocchet also presented new powerplay units, while Ekman-Larsson usually leads the second unit, the highly productive Wolanin will cover him while he's away.
Do you like the new mix Tocchet is trying?
