BREAKING | Leaf's fan there it is, blockbuster deal for a former Conn Smyth winner
The Toronto Maple Leafs had been rumored to be actively on the market for forwards and they just answered the call with a blockbuster deal to acquire a former Conn Smyth Winner.
The Maple Leafs have just acquired Ryan O'Reilly and Noel Acciari from the St. Louis Blues in a major blockbuster deal. It was Elliotte Friedman that reported the deal first:
Minnesota will retain 25% of O'Reilly's remaining contract and will receive a 4th Round Pick in 2025 as compensation. The Blues on their end will be getting:
- 2023 1st Round Pick Toronto;
- 2024 2nd Round Pick Toronto;
- 2023 3rd Round Pick Ottawa;
- Adam Gaudette;
- Mikhail Abramov;
Kyle Dubas has definitely shaken up the hockey world tonight with this major deal. Patrik Allvin on his end missed an opportunity to freely acquire a 4th round pick.
