LATEST | Roster move that announces something else
The Vancouver Canucks announced a roster movement that might be announcing that something else is coming.
The Canucks announced yesterday that Ilya Mikheyev had just been moved from the IR to the LTIR freeing nothing less than $4.75M on their salary cap. It is known that Mikheyev will be out for the remainder of the year the fact that the Canucks also called up three players from Abbotsford could be announcing another move.
The Canucks called up Phillip Di Giuseppe, Vasily Podkolzin, and Nils Aman from the AHL and now, according to CapFriendly, they have a little over $4.3M in cap space for the remainder of the season.
There's been lots of chatter lately around possible trades, Allvin and Rutherford are certainly setting themselves up for a crazy trade deadline.
