MAJOR | Footage of Valeri Nichuskin's incident released: Police Officer bodycam
Valeri Nichuskin was the name on everybody's lips when he took off in the middle of a playoff series due to a weird succession of events. It was later confirmed the origin of the story, and now the latest reports gave lieu to new details:
Nichuskin was escorted out of Seattle when a heavily intoxicated woman was driven out of his hotel room to the nearest hospital emergencies; here's the said footage:
Video obtained from 9news and The Seattle Times are showing a uniformed police officer entering the Four Seasons in Seattle to speak with the team's physician, Bradley Changstrom, who initially called the police for the woman's safety. Changstrom revealed he feared for the ''victim's'' safety due to her clear intoxication.
The woman claimed that a man had taken her belongings, including her passport, but nobody could confirm this man's identity since the woman could not remember anything of this incident.
Where this gets intriguing is that the Star Avalanche forward Nichuskin flew the seen as soon as it came out. He was escorted by a security team, and the reasoning behind this strategy has yet to be determined. The Seattle Police confirmed that the player was involved in these events. However, the precise role he had is not yet confirmed.
Apart from Nichuskin missing a few games in the Series, there have not been any further reports of the incident.
