MAJOR | Player anonymously destroys Darryl Sutter: he made a shocking revelation about the coach's actions
The Flames turned the page on quite the chapter when they relieved Darryl Sutter of his duties. Now that he is no longer the team's coach, stories have started to come out and it's not looking good for the veteran bench boss.
There is a website that allows players and staff members to anonymously review the different members of organizations. Obviously, the website IDs the said critic to confirm the validity of their comments. According to multiple sources, this website is comparable to the NHL's LinkedIn.
Once it had been confirmed that Sutter had been let go, an outrageous review surfaced confirming the rumors about him:
''Darryl was the most negative person, let alone coach, I have come across in my career. He would belittle players in a team setting constantly and went as far as to not feed grown men on the airplane because we lost a hockey game.''
In an era when players' wellness and mental health are put forward, it's hard to think that a coach would use such strategies to send his message. No wonder why the players quit on him. Looking back on it, could he be the reason for Johnny Gaudreau's departure?
In my book, a dinosaur using these types of strategies surely doesn't deserve a job in the world's best level of the game.
