MAJOR | There it is: Big surprise at the team's morning skate
The Canucks went on a shopping spree just days prior to the trade deadline. They spent big when they acquired Filip Hronek from the Red Wings and it seems as though we're closer to finding out if he was worth it or not.
Hronek had been out of business ever since the Canucks acquired him, yesterday footage was released showing the right-handed defenseman skating. Today, showed major progress in his case, since he was on the ice for the morning skate, in a regular jersey.
The Canucks will be hosting the Las Vegas Golden Knights tonight and help on the team's defensive core would be much appreciated.
Up to this point, it doesn't seem as if he'll be playing his first game, but we'll surely know more later on during the team's media availability.
