MAJOR | Tocchet shows a Complete Line-Up metamorphosis for the Canucks
The Canucks suffered an embarrassing 6-1 loss to the Red Wings last night and the team's new Head Coach Rick Tocchet pointed out exactly what he wanted to correct with his group in the following days.
Tocchet presented a whole new line-up today at practice. Vasily Podkolzin now starred on the team's first line with Elias Pettersson and Anthony Beauvilier. Di Giuseppe was promoted with Miller and Garland. While the 3rd unit was made of Kuzmenko, Dries, and Boeser. Joshua renewed with Aman and Lazar on the 4th line.
This certainly is a mix we have not yet seen on the ice. Podkolzin went from AHL bound to the top line in the NHL fairly fast. It'll be interesting to see how this new mix can work it out on the ice tomorrow.
Tocchet will be looking for a spark from his line-up especially after a lackluster performance at home. It is expected that Collin Delia stands between the pipe again, even after the team called Silovs from the minors.
Do you think these lines can spark it up for the Canucks? Can the Canucks hold their own against the Rangers again?
