LATEST | Allvin announces a roster move and a promising prospect is called up
The Vancouver Canucks have waived their netminder Spencer Martin and assigned him to Abbotsford as confirmed by the Canucks Insiders Rick Dhaliwal.
Thatcher Demko was reactivated from the Injury Reserve but is not yet ready to sit on the bench with his teammates, he is expected to be back by the weekend. Ahead of tomorrow's tilt against the New York Ranger. Patrik Allvin has recalled goaltending prospect, Artur Silovs, from Abbotsford.
Silovs was the team's 6th-round selection all the way back in 2019 and has shown great promise while in Abbotsford this year. He has a 21-9-4 record, a save percentage of 0.906, and a goals-against average of 2.48.
