MAJOR UPDATE | Tocchet reveals the timeline on Hronek and McDonough
Filip Hronek skated in full capacity for the first time with his new teammates today since hems been recovering from an injury ever since he was acquired from the Red Wings.
McDonough on his end, has joined the Canucks for just over a week now, but has yet to see the ice with a Canucks' jersey on. Rick Tocchet was made available to the medias after the morning skate and revealed extremely valuable information on the timeline for both newcomers.
Here's what he first stated on Filip Hronek:
«He's day to day. A good chance he's in on Thursday»
He then added on Aidan McDonough and stated that he like what he had seen so far. He continued and said he wanted to give time to his parents to come down to Vancouver before sending him, which shows the true professionalism behind his actions
Fair to say there's a good chance that the team's newest number 25 and 17 get to see the ice for their first time as Vancouver Canucks on Thursday when they host the San Jose Sharks. Are you excited to see what these bring to the table? We'll update you as soon as we know where they fit in Tocchet's line-up.
McDonough will be giving his first NHL strides while Filip Hronek has managed 38 points through 60 games this year.
