NHL Analyst is certain of Bo Horvat's next destination
Bo Horvat scored two goals again last night and added two apples, good for eight points in his last two games. Still, there are only talks about him being traded and not being re-signed.
NHL Analyst and former professional player Paul Bissonnette is certain that Bo Horvat's next destination is the Colorado Avalanche. After they won the cup, they also lost Nazem Kadri in free agency and according to him, Joe Sakic specifically mentioned Horvat as his target.
The Avs currently have about $115K in Cap space, so they'd definitely have to free up some space even if the Canucks were to retain 50% of Horvat's salary. The Avs still have their 3 next First Round Picks and I have to imagine that any trade talks for Horvat would start with young centerman, Alex Newhook.
There's definitely some work and math to be done here, but in a trade with Colorado, what would you ask in return for Captain Bo?
