Reminiscing: 13-year anniversary of a crazy beat up between John Scott and a Canuck player
It wasn't too long ago that some players were only with the team for their toughness. Nowadays, not only are enforcers a rare species, but the fights themselves as well.
13 years ago, today precisely, John Scott offered former Canuck Alexandre Bolduc quite the beating and the video is making its way once again around the internet.
John Scott was quite the enforcer back in the days. He racked up 544 penalty minutes over the 286 NHL games in which he took part. He'll most likely be remembered for the last year he spent in the NHL where he was voted into the All-Star game.
Alexandre Bolduc on his end did not have the same career path since he only spent 65 games in the league. Now, for the longtime hockey fans, do you miss the time when enforcers were needed?
