Since he's signed the big contract, Miller has been the target of many criticism especially since the team's had issue winning games.

J.T. Miller has been the Vancouver Canucks' most productive player over the last four years and he signed a hefty seven-year-deal worth $56M contract earlier in 2022. Since then, everyone's been following his every step and Miller being a highly competitive and emotional player, has felt it.

The Canucks forward may not use his best behaviour to communicate his urgency or his will to win, but you certainly can't criticize a player that wants to win. In the game against the Lightning on Thursday, the following was caught on camera and it's going around the internet.

Miller's been the center of attention for far too long and he isn't the reason for the team win-less streak, yes the fact that he has not produced to the same rhythm he had last year isn't helping.

The Canucks have scored 12 goals in their three games, four in each and they weren't able to manage a win. Miller's has defensive responsibilities, but he can't be blamed for the 17 goals that were allowed over that span.

Now is he allowed to be pissed off? Absolutely, it's completely normal to be thrown off his game from time to time when things aren't going your way. There's clearly something wrong in this team's atmosphere and it's been going on for far too long to put the blame only on one or even a couple of player. Miller's considered to be having an off-year and yet is on pace for 32 goals and 74 points, his differential just reflects the teams overall performance.

Canucks need a huge shakeup and they need to build a completely different cultural setting within the organization and perhaps that starts on the bench?
