WJC: Top prospects confirmed on their Nation's team
The world Juniors roster was just announced today for Team Sweden and two Canucks prospects have made the roster.
Jonathan Lekkerimaki and Elias Pettersson (the defense version) have both made the roster for team Sweden at the 2023 World Juniors to be held in Moncton and Halifax.
Team Sweden full line-up:
The two players, both drafted this year, are the only Vancouver Canuck draftees to make a roster this year. The draft class is a little short on supply due to Jim Bennings' administration selling off a 1st and 2nd round pick in 2021 and 2022 for Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Conor Garland as well as a third round pick for Jason Dickinson.
