WOW | Controversial coach John Tortorella takes major shots at Vancouver's media
John Tortorella is known to be one of the most controversial coach in the NHL when he's summoned by the media. Today was no exception as the his Flyers' are in town for a good old Saturday: Hockey Night in Canada.
Tortorella has history with Vancouver's media since he coached the team a few years back. He only counts fond memories of his time with the organization, the city and the fans. Though he did not hold back when he commented on the media:
"I loved it here, the fans were fantastic, as far as I'm concerned you guys in the media are IDIOTS"
Tortorella is already very well known for his ability to speak his mind and he showed it yet again. On the other hand, he only held great words for the fans and the city.
Tortorella has been a long-standing coach in the league the Flyers were in desperate need of a change of scenery, do you believe he's the man to take them to the next level? Can he still get it done?
