The big question possibly upcoming is who steps into the Captain's skates if Bo Horvat is traded?
The buzz around the Canucks has definitely intensified since Bo released his somewhat murky statement in regards to his future with the Canucks organization following his agents rejection of a contract renewal.
The list of candidates is a good one. The player that is selected though has to be one with strong shoulders, ability to lead the team on and off the ice and probably most importantly, able to communicate with the media on the ups and downs of the club.
All of these candidates in the poll by RinkWide have their positives and negatives. The captain of any NHL team is always under scrutiny (especially in a hot Canadian market).
Who will lead the way as the Canucks are looking to trade their leader if the longest standing Canuck packs his bags and leaves for another team?
