Canada Vs USA Final at 4 Nations Face-Off Breaks Monumental NHL Record
The 4 Nations Face-Off came to a close on Thursday night at TD Garden in Boston and millions of fans on both sides of the border tuned in to watch the Championship Game.

Connor McDavid's heroics, the television numbers have been released for the 4 Nations Face-Off Championship Game and it proved that international best-on-best hockey has a big place in the sporting landscape.
Sportsnet Public Relations announced on social media that last night's contest between Canada and the United States was the second-most watched hockey game on their network, only trailing
Game 7 between Edmonton and Florida last June.
Last night's game averaged 5.7 million viewers in Canada, with 10.7 million tuning at certain points throughout the game and peaked at 7.3 million viewers in overtime as Connor McDavid scored the winner.

As for the United States, last night's championship was broadcasted on ESPN and according to John Buccigross, a whopping 9.3 million people tuned in to watch, more than any NHL game ever on the network.

The National Hockey League knocked it out of the park with the 4 Nations Face-Off and having their players back in a best-on-best international competition.
Next up on the best-on-best international stage is the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina, Italy, where its viewership in Canada and the United States will undoubtedly be very high.
