We're getting closer and close to hockey returning and on Tuesday, the National Hockey League released their 106-game pre-season schedule which features a total of eight neutral site games and one in Germany.
The first game of the NHL's pre-season schedule will see the the Buffalo Sabres host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday, September 21st, while the final game is set for Saturday, October 5th as San Jose takes on Vegas.
For the Vancouver Canucks, they're set to participate in six games during the pre-season and one of those is a neutral site game in Abbotsford at Abbotsford Centre, home of their American Hockey League affiliate.
Here's Vancouver's finalized pre-season schedule, as announced by the National Hockey League:
- September 24th vs Seattle Kraken. (7 pm PT/10 pm ET)
- September 25th vs Calgary Flames, in Abbotsford. (7 pm PT/10 pm ET)
- September 27th @ Seattle Kraken (7pm PT/10 pm ET)
- September 28th @ Calgary Flames (6 pm PT/9 pm ET)
- September 30th @ Edmonton Oilers (6 pm PT/9 pm ET)
- October 4th vs Edmonton Oilers (7 pm PT/10 pm ET)
The Canucks will kick off their training camp in Abbotsford on Thursday, September 19th and will take place there until Sunday, September 22nd when a blue-white scrimmage will be played. We're only 49 days away from Vancouver Canucks hockey and there's no doubt it's an exciting time for the fan base.
