The Canucks have identified themselves as buyers and the team's GM as made it clear that he intended on making moves to improve his current line-up. He recently moved Anthony Beauvilier to gain cap space and the information that dropped today hinted at his next move.

ALLVIN SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON HIS SPENDINGS

Many previous Canucks GM have traded the team's first round selection to improve the team right away. The most recent example, the trade with the Coyotes that resulted in Oliver Ekman Larsson, Conor Garland in Vancouver and a certain Dylan Guenther in Arizona.

According to reports coming from Rick Dhaliwal, Allvin has made it clear that his 1st Round Selection was an untouchable:

'Earlier the guys reacted to the Anthony Beauvillier trade and @DhaliwalSports shared what he is hearing around the #Canucks.''

The Canucks are off to one of their hottest starts possibly ever and they'll definitely be on the look out to add and improve their current roster. To see that Allvin is choosing to stick to his plan and load up on assets to build a long time cup contender rather then a one-time-deal team.
