LATEST | Canucks joining NHL history with Miller, Hughes and Pettersson's hot state
The Canucks added another win against the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday night, and with it became the first team in the league to have three players pass the 30 point threshold.
Elias Pettersson scored his 9th goal of the season and the eventual game winner on Tuesday, becoming the third Canuck along with Quinn Hughes and JT Miller to pass the 30 point mark.
Pettersson is tied for 6th league wide in scoring while Miller and Hughes sit at 2nd and 3rd respectively, behind only Nikita Kucherov.
With Pettersson's goal, the Canucks become just the third team in 30 years to have three teammates surpass 30 points in the first 23 games, joining the 05-06 Senators and 95-96 Penguins.
Brock Boeser also added his 16th and 17th goals of the season, good for sole possession of first in the league.
The Canucks play Thursday night, welcoming the division leading Golden Knights to Rogers Arena.
