KUZMENKO TO ANAHEIM?
Kuzmenko has been mixed in all talks since Tocchet came behind the team's bench. The Russian has not yet found his rhythm, and the possibility of seeing him being traded is incredibly high. The trade proposal that was brought up suggested sending Kuzmenko as the central piece to Anaheim's sun in return for Frank Vatrano:
Giving up Andrei Kuzmenko to acquire a goalscorer doesn't improve the team. While Kuzmenko hasn't been playing up to the standards he set last year, there's still that fire in him. While Vatrano could be an exciting option for the Canucks, this is way too high of a piece, even though he's on pace for 39 goals.
ADDING CENTERMAN DEPTH AND SCORING
The Canadiens have clarified that they'll be looking to sell high on Sean Monahan. The resounding has since then been, how high? While many believe the Habs could potentially be looking at a 1st Round Selection, everything suggests he'll be fetching the Canadiens a high 2nd. The observer thought that the former Rounder in Noah Juulsen has been gaining value on the trade market, and an exciting trade proposal rose from it:
Monahan, who's on pace for just about 50 points on one of the league's worst teams offensively, could be one of the best 'low-cost' acquisitions to center the Canucks' 2nd line.
Seeing how Allvin plays his cards moving closer to the deadline will be interesting. Adding a centerman would allow Tocchet to keep the Lotto Line together and hope for production from the second line. Adding a scoring winger would give the option of dividing the team's offensive drivers in Miller and Pettersson.
