TRADE ALERT | The Canadiens and the Senators agree on a trade
It's been an extremely quiet summer trade wise and the Senators and the Canadiens have linked up for a trade just a few day prior to the beginning of their respective rookie camps.
The Canadiens have acquired the forward Jakov Novak, former teammate of Aidan McDonough at NorthEastern, from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for future considerations:
Novak, a 6'03'' and over 200 pounds forward, was a 7th Round Draft Selection in 2018. The forward registered 12 points in 35 NCAA games at NorthEastern last year and added another 12 in 14 with the Allen Americans of the ECHL.
