MAJOR | Bad news for Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks
Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks received some terrible news on Thursday morning.
It's been announced that forward Taylor Hall will miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season with a knee injury that requires surgery.
"BREAKING: #Blackhawks announce Taylor Hall will undergo right knee surgery and is out for the season."
Hall, 32, has already dealt with some injury issues this season with his shoulder and lower-body, causing him to miss six games and on Wednesday it was revealed that he did not travel with the Blackhawks on their road trip to Columbus.
The former first overall pick appeared in ten games for Chicago this season, putting up four points (two goals, two assists), four penalty minutes and was a minus-three.
While Chicago wasn't expected to make any noise this season in terms of pushing for a playoff spot, this is still a big loss for the Blackhawks and Connor Bedard in particular who had Taylor Hall as a linemate on several occasions already.
