Among the group of players waived is former Canuck prospect Kole Lind, who the Seattle Kraken waived.
Kole Lind was drafted 33rd overall in 2017 by the Canucks. The 24-year-old played four AHL seasons on the Utica Comets, the Canucks former affiliate team. He had one NHL stint playing seven games with the Canucks.
The Kraken picked Lind in the expansion draft in 2021. In the 2021-22 season, Lind played in 23 games. Last season, he recorded 62 points in 72 games in the AHL with the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
Lind was placed on waivers today and will likely play his 6th AHL season. He could be an exciting depth player for the Kraken.
