LATEST | Patrik Allvin announces roster movement: Six players sent down
24 hours after announcing on Wednesday that they were calling up six players from the AHL, Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin has announced that those same six players are being sent down to Abbotsford.
The following six players have been sent to AHL Abbotsford to continue training camp, which runs until Saturday, ahead of the 2023-24 season:
Arturs Silovs (G)
Filip Johansson (D)
Max Sasson (F)
Aatu Raty (F)
Linus Karlsson (F)
Arshdeep Bains (F)
Five of the six players listed above that were called up on Wednesday were in the lineup for Vancouver's 2-1 loss to the Seattle Kraken. Filip Johansson was the odd man out, being a healthy scratch, while Arturs Silovs was the backup to Casey DeSmith.
The Vancouver Canucks will be back in action on Friday night as they host the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena for their final game of the preseason. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. PT and can be viewed on Sportsnet.
