The St. Louis Blues attempted a massive shake-up earlier this week in hopes of turning their season around. Craig Berube, the Head Coach who took them to the Stanley Cup, was fired, leaving the players, the fans and the staff in awe.
Earlier on Thursday, the team star forward Jordan Kyrou was asked to give his thoughts on the coaching change, and clearly, his answer didn't satisfy the fans:
When asked about Craig Berube, Jordan Kyrou said, "I've got no comment. He's not my coach anymore." In response, he was booed by Blues fans. Postgame, Kyrou was emotional about the reaction.
Kyrou was later asked to comment on the incident. How he felt after being booed by his fans. The star forward opened up and shared some tears with the journalists:
"I see where they're coming from with how my comment sounded."
"It's just tough, right? I love playing here. So, it's just tough to hear the fans booing me there." #stlblues
It'll be interesting to see how this relationship develops. Kyrou has been with the Blues since his first day and signed a massive extension with the team.
