LATEST | Blues place former first-round pick on waivers: An option for Allvin?
A former first-round pick is set to hit the waiver wire later on Monday afternoon.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Jeremy Rutherford shared that the St. Louis Blues will be placing
Jakub Vrana on waivers at 2 p.m. ET.
"Jakub Vrana will be placed on waivers by the Blues, according to a source. #stlblues"
Vrana, 27, was selected 13th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Washington Capitals and has gone on to play for them, the Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues across parts of eight seasons.
In 19 games this season for the Blues, the Prague, Czechia native has six points (two goals, four assists), eight penalty minutes and is a minus-five.
