BREAKING | Canucks sign 28-year-old defenceman to multi-year contract
The Vancouver Canucks needed to add a top-four defenceman and Patrik Allvin has delivered.
According to Frank Seravalli, the Canucks have signed Carson Soucy to a three-year contract worth $9.75 million ($3.25 million AAV).
"Hearing #Canucks signing D Carson Soucy: 3 years x $3.25 million."
Soucy, a native of Viking, Alberta had 16 points (three goals, 13 assists), 68 penalty minutes and was a plus-18 in 78 games for the Seattle Kraken last season. He added two points and 12 penalty minutes in 14 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
