LATEST | Bruce Boudreau tells crazy story about how he almost made Quinn Hughes a centerman
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Bruce Boudreau revealed what may just be the craziest Canucks story this year.
Boudreau revealed that at some point last season, someone from the organization strongly suggested that he put Hughes at centerman instead of his natural defenceman position. Obviously, he chose to keep Hughes on the blue line:
«Somebody in that Vancouver organization tried to make me make Quinn Hughes a centre last year. I refused to do itI would sit there and shake my head.» Good thing Boudreau didn't take the advice, because the monster he created his about to shatter every record in franchise history and he is well on his way to win the Norris Trophy.
