According to PuckPedia, the San Jose Sharks have signed former Vancouver Canucks defenceman Kyle Burroughs to a three-year contract worth $3.3 million ($1.1 million AAV).
Burroughs, 27, was offered a contract by the Vancouver Canucks, who he's been with for the last two seasons, but he opted to test the open market and got a favourable deal for himself.
In 48 games for the Canucks this past season, the Vancouver native had five points (two goals, three assists), 62 penalty minutes and was a minus-four.
