LATEST | Canucks issue statement regarding Rick Tocchet: Reaching career milestone
Rick Tocchet took over from Bruce Boudreau last year as the team's Head Coach. Coming to Vancouver with a impressive bagage as a player, he also brought his fair share of experience as a coach and with the way the Canucks have handled themselves thus far this season, it's been quite noticeable.
REACHING CAREER MILESTONES
A veteran of 1184 NHL games as a player, Tocchet now reached new heights as a Coach with his 500 games bench. The Canucks issued a statement to congratulate his achievement:
'Congrats Coach Tocchet on 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣!''
Tocchet's impact behind the Canucks' bench has been noticeable. The team's been playing the best hockey they've in the last 10 years and they currently sit second in the Western Conference only behind the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
