As we slowly work our way towards the National Hockey League's trade deadline in early March, rumours are going to be swirling and with the Canucks in a playoff spot, they're name will certainly come up.
Now, as with any rumours, it's important to take this with a grain of salt, but according to reports, the Vancouver Canucks have been discussing a deal with the Arizona Coyotes that would send Andrei Kuzmenko to the desert in exchange for Lawson Crouse and a 2024 second-round pick.
"The Coyotes are reportedly offering forward Lawson Crouse and a 2024 2nd-round draft pick, originally from the Washington Capitals.
In return, the Canucks are considering sending Andrei Kuzmenko their way."
Crouse, 26, is having a fairly good season so far for the Coyotes. In 36 games, he's recorded 24 points (16 goals, eight assists). While Crouse would be a solid addition and plays a style that would be perfect for playoff hockey, the Canucks should have their eyes on a bigger target, such as Jake Guentzel.
