LATEST | Huge revelation regarding the Kuzmenko and Tocchet relationship indicates it's nearing its end
Vancouver Canucks forward Andrei Kuzmenko has had a tough season so far and has found himself in the press box on several occasions, including on Thursday night as the team opened their road trip in St. Louis.
There has been a lot of speculation regarding Andrei Kuzmenko's relationship with Rick Tocchet and according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the two met face-to-face before Christmas. Friedman added that the meeting went well, but now it appears that he's reached his fuse with the Russian forward.
"They had a big face to face meeting before the X-mas break in Dallas...People said this was a good meeting, the air is clear. A week and a bit later and look where we are. He's reached the end of his fuse with Kuzmenko."
Kuzmenko, 27, has one year remaining on his contract with a cap hit of $5.5 million beyond the 2023-24 season and it appears likely that he could be moved as we head towards the trade deadline in March.
The Yakutsk, Russia native has recorded only eight goals and 19 points in 32 games this season after putting up 39 goals during the 2022-23 campaign.
