LATEST | Former Canuck signs with the reigning Stanley Cup Champions
As teams around the National Hockey League open up training camps and release their rosters, more information about players on PTOs has been shared.
For the Vegas Golden Knights, they're bringing in a former Vancouver Canucks forward on a PTO.
In their press release this week sharing their training camp roster, one name that was listed was Adam Cracknell, who spent part of the 2015-16 season in Vancouver, before being claimed off waivers by Edmonton.
Cracknell, 38, spent the 2022-23 season with the AHL's Tucson Roadrunners where he had 53 points (21 goals, 32 assists), 34 penalty minutes and was a plus-12 in 64 games.
Currently, Cracknell is on an AHL deal with Vegas' affiliate, Henderson Silver Knights, which he signed back in July, but if things go well for him in training camp and preseason games, the Prince Albert native could turn his PTO into an NHL contract.
