LATEST | Former Canucks' GM Brian Burke makes bold statement on the team's management: It says a lot
The Donnie and Dhali show had former Canucks GM and now Analyst Brian Burke on the show.
Don Taylor asks Burke if the Canucks are in "good hands" with the Rutherford, Allvin and Tocchet combination in which Burke worked.
Burke responded by saying, "...Jimmy Rutherford won...three cups...he's a quality guy...hockey hall of fame...Patrik Allvin worked with me in Pittsburgh; he's a terrific guy...Rick Tocchet is a top coach; I think they're in great hands..."
Burke also said that the Sedin Twins are back helping the organization, saying, "...I think it was brilliant...these are two of the smartest people I've ever had as players. I admire them greatly as players...they weren't just great hockey players, they are great people."
Burke seems to be very high on the Canucks front office. Only time will tell if this management group can turn around the Canucks.
