LATEST | Friendly face appears at practice: Help is on the way for the Canucks
Pius Suter has resumed skating with the Vancouver Canucks, with the centre spotted at Canucks practice on Friday.
Suter hasn't played since November 12 against the Montreal Canadiens, with the team placing him on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury on November 24.
As recently as November 27, it was reported that Suter had yet to resume skating.
A return to game action on Saturday hasn't been ruled out, but appears unlikely as Suter skated as the 13th forward in line rushes on Friday.
The 27 year old has scored 4 goals in 15 games playing with the Canucks, his first season with the team.
While Suter has been expected to take Nils man's spot in the lineup when healthy, the young forward has played well with the Canucks since being recalled.
Tocchet's continued frustration with Andrei Kuzmenko - now taking line rushes with the 4th line - could result in the Russian forward being a healthy scratch in favour of Suter.
