LATEST | Good News for Elias Pettersson: Big names healthy scratched
Elias Pettersson returned to the ice after his two-day abscence with an illness. The 24-year-old joined teammates in a small practice group today.
The rest of the group along with pettersson include Hughes, Cole, Juulsen, Miller, Blueger, DiGiuseppe, Garland, Mikeheyev, Demko all of which will be healthy scratches for tonight's game against Kraken.
The Canucks head coach, Rick Tocchet, will try to get some rest for a few of their top guys to ensure they are ready for the season to begin. The Canucks re-called 6 players that include, Arshdeep Bains, Max Sasson etc. to play in this game.
The Canucks play in one more preseason game, it will be interesting to see how they use their roster players. The Canucks open up regular season play on Oct 11 against the Oilers.
