Latest rankings disrespect the Canucks newest acquisitions
The Vancouver Canucks made some big moves this offseason addressing their defence. The team brought in Carson Soucy and Ian Cole to help upgrade their defensive depth, to be specific.
Sportsnet released a list of the seven Canadian teams, ranking the Canucks fourth on the list.

The Canucks need to find captain Quinn Hughes a partner. He has played alongside rookie standout Cole McWard in much of the preseason. The 22-year-old McWard played in 5 games last season but will look to have an extended stay this season. It could be a great pairing if he can find some chemistry with Hughes.
The Canucks will look to have some veterans, such as Cole, Soucy and long-time Canuck, Tyler Myers, have significant years for them to have a successful season.
The Canucks begin their season on Oct 11th; we will see how they perform as a defensive unit.
