LATEST | Insider gives an important update on Canucks' trade targets
The Vancouver Canucks are continuing to search for help on the blue line and have been linked to several names over the last few weeks.
Among the names that the Canucks have been linked to include a pair of Calgary Flames defencemen - Chris Tanev and Nikita Zadorov.
On Donnie & Dhali, Rick Dhaliwal provided an update on the Canucks' potential interest in both Tanev and Zadorov.
"I told you a couple of weeks ago that the Canucks love this Zadorov, they love his size, they love his skating, they love the way he hits." Dhaliwal said.
He went on to add, "They're going to go hard after him. If they don't get him in a trade, they're going to try again on July 1st. And Vancouver will be high on Zadorov's list of destinations on July 1st."
Dhaliwal added that the Canucks also like the potential of bringing back Chris Tanev. Tanev spent the first ten years of his career with Vancouver.
Zadorov, 28, has appeared in 13 games this season where he's put up five points (one goal, four assists), 14 penalty minutes and was a minus-six.
As for Tanev, he's skated in 14 games this season for the Calgary Flames where he's put up two assists, two penalty minutes and is a plus-two.
